Create your first job
Create a job from the Jobs page: click Add New Job, fill in the required fields, and click Create Job. Each job gets its own candidate pipeline, and its status controls whether candidates can apply.
Create the job
On the Jobs page, click Add New Job.
Fill in the required fields: Job title, Location, Owner, and Description.
Click Create Job.
You can also set fields that describe the role to clients and candidates: Company, Status, Employment type, Contract type, the salary fields with Show salary on job posting, Hiring manager, Number of hires, and Fee type with a fee amount or percentage.
The pipeline that comes with it
Every new job starts with a pipeline running from the Inbox stage to the Placement stage. Inbox and Placement are locked: each shows a lock icon and cannot be dragged, and you cannot select either as a type for a custom stage. The stages between them are yours to shape: rename them, reorder them, and add triggered actions such as automated emails.
Click Add Stage.
In the Add new stage dialog, enter the Stage name, choose the Stage type, and pick an Icon & color.
Click Create stage.
Job statuses
The status controls what candidates can do with the job:
Open accepts applications. This is the default for a new job.
Paused temporarily stops applications.
Closed completes a job.
Archived removes the job from normal views.
Share the application page
Each job has a public application page, so candidates can apply through a link instead of you entering their details.
Open the job and click Preview to see the public application page.
Click Copy Invitation URL to copy the share link. You'll see a confirmation that the invitation URL has been copied to your clipboard.
When a candidate submits the application form (Apply Now or Submit Application), we create the candidate record automatically and place the application in that job's Inbox stage. To move an existing candidate into the pipeline instead, use Add Candidate from the job page and choose the candidate and the application stage.
Moving candidates between stages or marking them rejected can trigger automated emails, and bulk actions can send several at once. Test with dummy candidates and review your stage trigger settings before using live data.
