Reformat and brand candidate resumes
Turn a candidate's original resume into a clean, branded, client-ready CV with the Reformat Resume tool. The tool formats the source resume into one of your agency templates, lets you edit and anonymize the content, and gives you the final say on whether the formatted resume appears in the client portal.
Before you start: the candidate's original resume must already be uploaded to their profile. Reformatting uses that file as its source. If the profile has no resume yet, upload one first: resume parsing adds one automatically when you parse a new candidate, or you can attach one to an existing profile.
Reformat a resume
Reformatting starts from the candidate profile and produces a new, formatted version built from the uploaded resume.
Open the candidate's profile.
Click Reformat Resume.
The resume is automatically formatted into your selected agency template.
Review the generated resume and edit anything that needs fixing: update sections, adjust wording, or remove sensitive details before you consider it client-ready.
Customize the layout, branding, and sections in the settings panel (see the sections below).
Save the final version.
Choose whether to show the resume in the client portal.
Reviewing the generated document before sharing it with a client is part of the intended workflow. You decide what the client sees, so check the formatted version rather than sharing it untouched.
Edit and anonymize the formatted resume
After the resume is formatted, you can fully edit the content, sections, and layout before sharing it with clients. To anonymize it, remove or adjust personal details such as identifying candidate information, so the client sees the candidate's experience without their contact details.
Organize the content by reordering, editing, or adding sections. Different sections and wording can be tailored to the role you are submitting for.
Brand it for the client
Use the settings panel on the reformatting page to control how the resume presents your agency. The branding controls are:
Logo
Company name
"Represented by"
You can apply different templates depending on the client or the role, so each presentation matches that client's expectations.
Share it with a client
Sharing happens through the client portal. When you save the formatted resume, you choose whether to show it in the portal. Once shared, clients can view and download the formatted resume from there.
